Washi tape,‘mt’s second promotional exhibition “mt expo” was held in Taipei. To welcome passersby, the façade of the building and the deck were decorated by the tapes. New collection tapes were exhibited on the walls and Taiwanese traditional massive lanterns made by mt’s Washi paper were hanged in the darkened room, along with luminous tapes. Customers could try out many free-sample tapes and coin-operated lottery machines to get limited edition tapes. Mini coopers and a bus decorated with tapes ran around the city and the pictures of them spread through SNS as the exhibition’s icons.
