伊豆・下田市で開催したmt ex展。16,000本以上の風車をつくって開催される「風の花祭り」という下田のお祭りにインスパイアされ、今回の会場ではmt原紙で制作した「かざぐるま」のインスタレーションを行いました。下田湾を臨む全長130mのウッドデッキ全面をmtで彩るなど、会場である道の駅・開国下田みなと全体を活かした空間に仕立てました。併設ショップではスクリーン印刷による新しい製品や、シークレットテープ入りガチャ、SCANDINAVIA SERIESの先行発売など、新規の展開もあり、盛りだくさんなイベントとなりました。
The exhibition “mt ex” held at Shimoda, Izu Peninsula. There is a festival called “Festival of Wind Flowers” in Simoda, which people celebrate the coming of spring by displaying more than 16,000 pinwheels. Inspired by that scenery, we designed an installation of original pinwheels made by mt papers. The 130 meters long wood deck of Shimoda Bay Roadside Station was covered by vivid masking tapes and it added a beautiful contrast to a view of Shimoda bay. The new series of screen-printed tapes and SCANDINAVIA SERIES are released at this event. Some secret tepes in the Gashapon capsule game attracted customers as well.
